Six weeks. SIX FUCKING WEEKS.
I had it all planned out. Sort of. Increase my mileage by approximately half a mile a week until two weeks before the race, by which time I’d be up to about thirteen miles (half a marathon), then a couple of shorter runs and lots of rest to conserve energy before the run. A bit of good news today. I went for my weekly weigh-in and found I’d lost 2 pounds. I’m now 18st 6lbs (again), which is 117.1kg and the lightest I’ve been (by a whole 0.3kg) since I started my weight loss program. I’m still a couple of kgs off where I’d like to be but I’ve made some progress at least. Read the rest of this entry »
A fairly healthy week this week. I’ve brought my own lunch (alternating between chowder and Moroccan chickpea soup—both homemade) to work every day (until today), and—apart from a great curry on Monday night—I’ve been pretty healthy in the evenings. I weighed myself at lunchtime today and I’ve lost a pound this week, which is half a stone overall. Read the rest of this entry »
